Diode mod and my impressions
So last friday i did the diode mod. And well here's how it went
The car is stock, cept for n75h and ghettofied intake(filter on a stick)
The car deffinatly feals faster and the boost characteristics have changed greatly. Now it takes it a little longer to hit peak boost but i hold it till 5200rpms or so and then it bearly tapers.
1st- doint know to quick
2nd- 1bar(14.5psi)
3rd- 1.1bar(16psi)
4th- 1bar
5th- 1bar
before i hit full boost about 26-2700 now it takes till about 31-32.
However, in the past there was debate about running lean. unfortunatly i dont have the registered version of vag so i cant do live logs. but using codes and what not i've been monitoring it. for the past couple of days i've been battleing limp mode goin in and out. I've been adjusting the fueling and timing with Limmi to combat this and as of now i seem to have it runnin stoich. As far as giving it enough time to adapt it's been about 600 miles so i figure thats enough
so overal, for the $3 it cost me its pretty good. i'm not sure if im as fast as a chipped Audi as i've never road in one and don't know anyone around here.(If anyone lives near the Savannah area and wants to test it out let me know)
next thin will be to get a new dv before mine goes out.

its a diode that you put on your map sensor to limit the about of boost it see's. that way you can turn your boost up and allow your car to adapt without going into limp
