Default DIY stuff

Well not really. One shop quoted me $250 for one rear differential seal and $400 for both.
If i go to another mechanical shop not specialized in German cars, is that something easy for them or no?
And also, i feel like my steering wheel is kinda different now, could it be a fluid? (has to be changed). How easy is that?

waht do u mean ur steering wheel is diff? like heavier? if it's heavier, it could be lower fluid, power steering pump going bad, or dirty fluid. as long as ur don't hear like a whining noise while turning the wheel u should be good. check the fluid also. it has to be crystal clear with a tint of yellow

besides working on s#!tty 5.0 mustangs my friends had, i always worked on my own cars - all vw and my audi. It's all the same thing only a little different. its not like european cars all have left hand threads on the bolts.
