Default Do I need Alignment after Axle replacement?

FInally I got my front both side axle replacent done. No more cranking sound on turns and ready for cross-x

The problem is for some reason car is shakening at idle, on high speeds and right turns...

Do I need alignment ? Or any other reason ?

I can understand high speed and right turn shakes but wtf with shake at idle ?? [&:]

Any ideas ?

Shake at idle when the car is moving or when stopped? Stopped wouldn't make sense...

No you don't need an alignment unless you moved the tir rod or sub frame.

Id like to know how you got this done WITHOUT YOUR JACK STANDS!???
Dont know about your problem.. If the tierod or any major suspension part was disconnected you would need an alignment. How much does the car shake at idle? No codes?

If all you did was pull the lower ball joints out of the bottom of the spindle and pulled it out of the way to remove the cv shaft when you put it back in the alignment would be the same, I guess it would all depend on how the cv shaft was removed (I haven't had the opportunity to do one on an Audi yet but I'm sure I will be suprised like when I did the control arms).

yes engine mounts would cause shacking at idleand no alignment not required for rear Axel replacement ( its rigid and fixed construction ).
