Default Do i need to do a tranny flush in my 1998 a4 1.8t quattro?

Its time for another oil change and while im under there, i was thinking about a tranny flush. i have done them several times before but never to an audi. Should i do this? does it need to be done? It sometimes grinds a little when switching gears in 1,2 and 3. I have used Pennzoils Synchromesh in my hondas and that helps to lube up the synchronizors and is applicable with hondas. is it too with Audi's? Any advice on doing this would be great.
