Does chipping the car void warranty?

I'm considering getting the APR one for my 2006 A4, but I don't want it to void warranty :\

Also, do I need CAI or anything if I chip it?

nope you dont need a cai. a dv is a better choice they tend to leak on higer boost. also it might void your warrenty but thats if they find it and they dont look for it

Most stealerships are pretty retarded. Most of them cant even complete the jobs they are supposed to, let alone find a chip in an ecu. If you are over-concerned, just get an extra ecu, chip it, and keep your stock on in a box in case you have a visit with the shop. You could then pop the OEM ecu back in.

no it wont void the warranty giac makes a great flash. I have an automatic and just did the GIAC flash HUGE difference and it can't void the warranty, as a matter of fact this flash is offered at some of the dealerships here (for an extra fee of course. A substantial fee) But yeah, do it cuz you won't regret it!!!!;)
