First, find a VAG-COM and check for codes for the central locks to give you a hint at what may be wrong.

Do the locks work if you use the buttons in the car?

 

the locks work fine with the buttons in the car which leads me too believe it is the module. I'll run the vag on it this weekend mine only says fault codes dosent really give descriptons being its a cheap obd II toolthanks for the input
