i don't know why i am still trying to help you. but just give a link to what you are trying to buy. i have never seen an ecode 3" downpipe..

there is however a 3" TESTPIPE made by ATP that ecode distributes. are you talking about that?

yes, it will fit. it is a bitch to install though. look into evolution racewerks testpipe. it is better fitment and a better quality product for not much more

description:

Fits1997 - 2005 Audi A4/Vw Passat with K03, K04, or ATP Elminiator Series Turbos 3" racing downpipe deletes restictive cat immiediately after the turbo on the longitudinally mounted 1.8T. There is no welding or cutting necessary. The downpipe has a large 3" opening to take full advantage of the turbo flow and has provisions for the factory oxygen sensors. Typical gain is 200 to 400 rpm sooner spoolup and 40 ft/lb of wheel torque. HP gain is 10-15 on stock and K04 turbo and 30-40 on GT28RS or larger turbo. Our favorite when used with stock exhaust for ultra quite stealth sound. This part is for offroad use only. Comes with fasteners and smaller (14mm) head nuts to make installation much easier than the stock part.

figure that if it has no cutting or welding needed and can be used with stock exhaust and is intended for stock turbo. then yes, it will fit

ya thats not a downpipe, its a testpipe. i dont know why they worded it like that. makes it confusing.

i think they describe it as a downpipe to help the people that don't know what a testpipe is..

kinda likea WRX. they're catis in the downpipe. so when they order a catless downpipe they are getting a testpipe to. but our cars are retarded so we have to distiguish between the two
