I am in love with how my audi looks inside, all the red lights look sooo nice together, but i really want a NAV or DVD unit in my dash. Does anyone know of one that looks good with the audi interior? I saw one made by audi, but cant find info on it anywhere.... thanks!

 

If i'm not mistaken, you could get a similar NAV screen that is found in like a S4 or RS4

 

i saw that one, but i believe its only available in europe. but im relativley new to audi. so im sure someone knows better than me.....

I have seen a site that sells the nav unit for around a 1000 bucks, with the north american dvd map set. I'm at work right now, i'll find out more when I get home today.

I would definitely recommend going with OE from Audi because 1.) it looks cleaner and 2.) you won't have to worry about security issues like with an aftermarket head unit. The problem with the flip out screens is that when burglars see them sticking out of the dash, they are much more inclined to make a pass at swiping it as opposed to something that is stock. OE is usually harder to remove because you often have to use special tools, hence, fewer burglaries of OE.
