LOL, yeah thats what everyone says until they go to the track. My best rt was .399, but not a great launch that time.

it takes a lot of practice to get a good rt and launch consistantly.

theguy1084, lets see some of your timeslips and what you ran with your audi.

nice, im surprised you didnt run a lot lower times but better luck next time. That was at trails correct? I used to run my celica over there a lot.
Yes, at the trails. I think part of the slower times was the heat/humidity. It was like upper 80's and pretty humid. My car seems to have a lot more power when the temp is between 50degrees and 65 degrees.

Yeah the weather does affect times a bit. What all is done to your A4?

Ok so here are my timeslips. Sorry the pics suck but I had major boost leak problemsthat day(cracked IC piping, O-ring at the boost sensor, and the check valve to the brake booster) thats why the times are slow but the R/Ts are ok. Gotta leave on the last yellow. I am pissed cuz I looked like a fool out there with the slow times. O yeah and this was before the testpipe and intake. My R/T was .236 and .193

how are myou running a 14 second quarter with 290 to the wheels. that ranslates to over 320 to the crank. you should be in the high 12's or low 13's

Theguy1084,
Nice r/t's.
This was my first time ever at the strip.
How many times had you dragged before you got that kind of r/t?
Just curious.
At the end, I started launching on the third yellow to compensate. That was probably my .399 one.

RE: Dyno + 1/4 Track with acetrebo

The first time I dragged I was getting .8s .9s and stuff. I was talking to a few guys and they just said go on the last yellow. So I started doing that and average about .2. I have been maybe 4 times and about 4 runs at a time..Between each light is said to be .5 so if you go on the last yellow you will cut your time that much..
