96 2.8 fwd M.

I can't seem to find springs that will fit my car. And when I do, the same part applies to a 1.8T vehicle and/or another year that different suppliers say are not compatible.

Does anyone have an informed answer for me? What springs will safely fit my car? I'd like to nix the tremendous wheel gap without breaking the bank. looking for a 2" drop.

96-2001 were all the same, any 2.8 fwd springs will work
1.8 fwd springs will work, but they arent rated for the extra weight of the 2.8 engine, so they will be softer, and probably lower the car more then what they state
