Where is the Engine coolant sensor located on a 2001 A4 1.8T?

its on the back of the engine... This has been talked about a lot lately, try a search. Audiworld has a DIY for it in their tech section.

Hey, thanks man, I did a search on Audiworlds tech articles before I posted but I couldn't find one specific to my year. Is it generally in the same spot for all A4 models?

Yeah their B6 DIY is the exact same except there is less obstructions to get past to get to the ects on the b5.
