Default ecu? obd codes 301 302 help!!! asap

I have a 2000 a4 quattro 1.8T 115 k mi. runs very rough at start up when cold but then smoothes out as it gets warm. yet if I rev it a little,or put some power to ityou can here it miss&coughs. I have changed all the plugs and coil packs( napa $25 ea.), but still the same codes.and have also pulled the plug boots, and can hear a steady arc even when the car is missfiring. in these post it sounded like a icm or power amp, yet this car does not have either. all the plugs are sooty & black. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and knowledge. these forums are awesome. ps: car is undriveable due to this I believe they call it limp modeplease help asap. thanks again

Sounds like you're runing rich without a rich code. Change your
air filter. You might be using a spark plug that is too cold. NGK heat
range should be 6.

1238 cyl 2 fuel inj circ open circ

302 sometimes indicates icm (if you are positive its not coil pack related)

you should be running the latest revision audi coilpack and double platinum plugs, as already advised use a 6 (PFR6Q)this isnt the place to save money.

if you keep getting 302 after putting good coilpacks in, then you may want to check the icm
