engine break-in
I just got a new 2008 Audi A4 2.0T manual sedan today. Is there a recommended way to drive the car for the first n miles ? ( Less than x mph, etc.)
Also, when should I first change the oil ? And is there any type of gas that is bestrecommended ?

change oil your first 1,000 miles.. because theres crap from the factory assembly
don't rev high, i you live in cali 91... mobil or chevron...
You will find that if you mix half mobil and half chevron... you will get an extra 30 miles per tank... I don't know why.. it just works that way try it

drive gently for the first 3000 ish miles. you dont have to baby it, but dont step on it too hard. top sped doesnt matter becuase it isnt really related to the engine rpm. just dont get to that speed too quick adn you will be fine
it's also important to not keep the rpm's constant for a long period of time. Vary the rpm's as much as you can... i.e. don't drive 60mph for hours at a time. Agreed with above though, check with the dealer and/or your owner's manual.
