Engine Code P0302

Can someone please tell me what P0302 means? This is related to '00 A4 1.8T (ATW Engine).

cylinder 2 misfire. could be ECT, ICM, coilpack or spark plugs

ECT's dont cause misfires. Whoever said that in another thread was wrong. 00+ engines dont have ICM's. ATW coil packs hardly ever fail. Could be a bad spark plug (cracked insulator)... It happend to me. Try swapping your coil packs to see if the misire follows first though. Then check/replace plugs.
If it does turn out to be a coil pack, let me know I have 4 Hittachi coil packs for2000/ATW engine for sale.

there was a recal on the coils........ and audi coils are know to fail........

i would just buy his coil/coils and call it a day
