I want to dress up my engine some, ....im tearing the whole thing out to clean it, put on new hoses and what not.........but i would LOVE to find a brushed alluminum engine cover....but i can only find one for the 1.8t....and i ahve the 2.8 b5............does anybody know where i can find one...any material...as long as it looks better than the stock plastic that comes on it......

post teh one for the 1.8T for use. I've never seen a brushed aluminum cover for any of them. I ahve seen a carbon fiber if i recall.

OK let me find it again........it was lieka week ago......when i first started seraching and it was 1.8 so i blew it off.........but if i woulda joined here before i deff would have posted it right then............but have you seen a carbon fiber for the 2.8?

You would need a bloody good paint as it would peel if discolour pretty quick I think. I am interested in the bruches aluminium engine cover too.

sry guys the one i saw for teh 2.8 wasnt for the 2.8 it was teh 2.7T carbon fiber engine cover. sry my bad.

Apr has one for the 1.8t but if you email them they would tell you if they are coming out iwth your engine style....

This ones at GMP. It's made by carbonio. I don't know about 2.8 though.
