Default Engine Fault Code

I had someone with a VAG-COM tool help me find out why my check engine light was on but he did not have the decoder to find out what the fault code meant. Does anyone have access to one? I have an '02, A4, 1.8, B6/B7 and this is the fault code instructions the VAG-COM tool gave:

Address 01: Engine
Part No SW: 8E0 909 518 G HW: 8E0 909 018
Component: 1.8L R4/5VT G 0002
Coding: 0016581
Shop #: WSC 63351

1 Fault Found:
17544 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean
P1136 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - MIL ON
Readiness: 0000 0000

Help please!

Your car is a B6, not a b6/b7. There is no decoder for vag com that im aware of. It will give you the code then you have to find out what it means. There is a write up somewhere about what all the fault codes mean.. Try searching "17544 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean" in any search engine like yahoo, or the search here. Im guessing your MAF is bad. I had that code when my MAF was bad.. But try to think of other things that can make you run lean like fuel restriction, 02 sensor, etc.

too much fuel would be running rich
too much air would make it run lean

except for when he gives his monthly "goodbye to audifourms.com" message... Never trust that statement! He'll always come back with a screen shot that conflicts with my troubleshooting suggestions.
