Default EPC light

So one day my car loses a sh*t load of power and the EPC light comes on. If I floor I'll roll at 1.5 mph. Shut her off and restart and she is fine. Happened about 4 more times and then the check engine light came on. OKAY time to hit up Autozone. They pull the codes and it comes up as a manufacturers misfire or something like that. So replace the spark plugs, they reset the code and so far so good. Man that EPC thing sucks.

Status report 15 minutes ago lost power and the EPC light came on. *SIGH* Looks like I'm in need of another trip to Audi. I should just move to scottsdale it would make the commute to Audi less horrible since I seem to drive there more than I drive to work.

Did you find out what the problem was? My car has done the same thing to me multiple times. Goes along fine fora week or so, then loses all power and flashes the EPC light. Turn it off and back on, and it is fine. Advanced Auto ran the codes, said it was the throttle position sensor. But the kicker is that is part of the throttle body, which is a $500 part. I'm going to get an appointment with Audi before I pay $500 for this, but if you found out what it was, I would love to know.

check for boost leaks. i had a boost leak and thats what caused mine to pop on and off. its a pain but just turn the car off and on real fast and you reset.
