Hey guys...I auto cross, and my B5 didnt come with the switch to disable the ESP!!..soo...my auto-x times basically suck....is there anyy way that i can turn the ESP on and off without the dealer knowing?? Thanks

what is the ESP, isnt that something to do with traction

Did any B5's come with this switch?? I know that Cadillacs have them but not sure if the Audis have the switch or not

 

the newer moddles have a button on the center deck

 

Do you have a quattro? Don't think there is anyway to turn the stabalization system off...that only came on frontrack if I'm not mistaken.

the 2001 and up have the esp button so u can turn it on and off. Or else i think you can get a vag and try to turn it off.

 

Wow... Interesting to know! Does a 1996 Audi A4 2.8 QM Come with ESP? I know it doesnt have the button but I have VAG-COM and am wondering if I could turn it off? Has anyone ever considered doing up a post all about the ESP how it works what it does to each whell etc... let me know thanks

 

It might have been an option.

 

If there is no switch your car does not have it not many b's did espically the 1.8T's seen a few 2.8's with a switch but yea like I said if there is no switch your car does not have it
