I dont use my a/c alot, except when it's really humid, but the last three times I had it on, the car stalled when I came to a stop. It would start immediately, but stall again if I didn't keep the revs up above idle. I then would just normally turn the a/c off, roll down the windows, & the car is just fine. The battery is fine, but getting on in age, just wondering if I should change it.

 

Well I know the a/c compressor does cause some drag on the engine. Can't see how it would be that bad to stall the engine. Only thing I can think of is maybe the compressor is going bad or the pulley is faulty. When its on does the a/c work fine?
