exaust sound

From an exaust like borla with one resonator then one muffler, which one lowers the sound the most (decible wise) the muffler or the resonator?

the muffler. Well, actually its whatever is larger. In my TT the res is tiny compaired to the muffler. But in a a4/passat they both are HUGE.

ya...its quite big. im taking it to an exaust guy my friend knows (thats reassuring...) and getting teh center section remade into a straight pipe so i can change em out if i wanna dn i wont void the warrenty

oo didnt even think of that. all i need are a few v-tec stickers and ill be in he 12's on the quarter!
