What types of exhaust systems do you all have? I bought the car with one of those universal mufflers on it and the cops have been giving me nothing but sh*t. i get pulled over all the time, because it is wicked loud... so basically i am looking for an aftermarket exhaust system that isnt very loud, but you know it is there. if that makes any sense to any of you... any help would be great. thanks

Borla makes one with a nice sound and it's not too loud. You can try APR too. That is alot quieter. GHl makes a nice sounding one too. It's somewhat on the loud side. And if you want to try buy a great exhaust (you're gonna pay the big bucks too), go to Dahlback racings homepage.

Just got milltek and love it. On the more pricey side for cat back setups though. Check them out at www.stratmosphere.com
Borla is great too. A lot of people have custom jobs too.

If you plan on upgrading the turbo, save your money and go with a custom 3".

post a pick of what you have on your car right now. try and get a picture of the whole system from the cat - back. I would recommend buying a borla turbo muffler and then just going to a shop and getting them to custom fab 2.5in piping all the way back to 1 borla muff. shouldn't be much more than $400

I am looking at getting a borla, I hear they are pretty good and borla won the vote in the little audi forum election. I was wondering however how big is the difference performance wise and sounds wise between resonated and non resonated? Which sounds better? Which performs better?

i have cat back 2.5in piping with no resonator (mid muff) and one borla turbo muffler on the back, sounds and preforms freakin awesome! i highly recommend. i got my system through evolutionsports.com, they get their systems through techtonics tuning, i think dp and exhaust was *cough* $925
