Default exhaust, should i?

I have a B7 2.OT, APR flashed, ecodetuning testpipe and DVFSI installed.
I am wondering if I should get the APR exhaust. It's alot of money there. $1000+. So I wanna hear more advices on forum before I make my decision. I will only consider APR exhaust, other brand is too loud for me.

Will there be a HP and torque gain w/ APR exhaust? since most power comes from the testpipe
or APR exhaust is just for sound only after testpipe?

any advices will be appreciated, thanks ^_^

Any exhasut will aid in HP and torque. The test pipe adds power because the stock cat is very restrictive. You have a test pipe to free up the exhuast flow but now it is being restricted a bit by the exhaust. Getting an exhasut will help. Think of a funnel. Wide top and really resricitng bottom. You can fill the funnel much faster then it can empty itself. Cut the bottom open bigger and anything you put in it flows much better and faster.

Wwll I take it back. Not any. Pretty much any you can find like magnaflow, apr, borla etc are fine. But if you go custom an do huge pipes you might loose too much back pressure and lose hp and torque but anything dealer bought should be fine.

I've talked to alot of people about the audi's exhaust, and they say that the best exhaust for the car is already on it. Porsche already makes a really nice exhaust,a nd I think thats who made your car.

Rudy, you think stock exhaust on B7 is better than APR exhaust?
becuz I have testpipe w/ stock exhaust currently, the exhaust sound doesn't sound that great at all. If APR exhaust can make my sound exhaust better (not louder) and give me a mini boost. then I think it's a good investment. What do you think?

TheAPR exhaust is better and will flow better but is but is louder than milltek. If you like the way the APR exhaust sounds, goapr.

My 1999 A4 1.8T Wagon has started sounding like a Jet plane. The Exhaust system has no leaks. What might the problem be?

No way stock exhaust will work better then aftermarket. And you can buy aftermarcket exhasusts for porsche too and they sound ridiculous. By ridiculous I mean fricken awesome. Stock exhaust will not be as effective as aftermarket BOTTOM LINE. My car is much faster and sounds like it will eat and spit out anything that gets in front of it when I floor it. I'm putting up vids later this week.
