Default Exterior Trim Removal

I have a 2003 Dolphin Gray A4 1.8T with the gray plastic trim around the bottom of the doors and as the side sills, but my front passenger door trim is not flush with the body. I have researched and looked on this forum but I can't seem to find anything on the same problem for the A4. Does anyone have a DIY or a few ideas about how it is connected to the door panel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get the new panel and you'll be able to see how its mounted. It either has a couple of screws holding onto it or it slide locks into place, or even both.

I did the trim on the doors for my 99.5 a month ago. For mine it was undo a screw on the inside of the door in the lower right . Then slide the trip back about and inch and a half, then it just fell off. Not sure if yours will be the same since you are a B6 and im a B5 but maybe it will help.

BTW my screws were so rusted I needed to Dremel a few off.
