extra switchs

i was woundering if anybody has removed the extra switchs next to the seat warmer switch. i have pulled the three out that i have no use for. RIght now i am trying to fabricate a black box that will hold my bass boost controll and make it look stock. just woundering if anybody has done this and any ideas on what i should use for materials and any help full tips!!!!!

What you could do is remove all the switches you don't want in there, then use a Dremel to cut out the dividers between the switch mounting holes, so you have a rectangular opening. Get ahold of Crutchfield and order a piece of black ABS plastic (I bought one a few years back for about $10), trim to fit, cut out the proper opening for the bass boost control, mount it, and you're set.

This is the best thing to do with the extra space

VDO Boost Gauge install

Don't know how much the mount would cost to have fabed up
