Default FAULT CODE P0401 HELP!!!

Was driving home this morning after a rough night (hehe) anyways was driving out to breakfast when all of a sudden bam there was a CEL on my dash...wasn't flashing to I drove it out to autozone and got it scanned (luckily it was on my way to breakfast) came out with the code P0401 its a code for the EGR valve not getting sufficient flow. so my questions are:

How can I fix this?
is this going to cost me decent amount in parts (new EGR valve)?
Can I do this myself?
how hard is it to fix?
Where the hell is the EGR valve?

thanks for reading the post guys, and I appreciate any feedback

#1 of ,1 it could be a leak or EGR valve stuck open due to carbon build up
