Default Finally took my engine covers off

https://www.audiforums.com/m_381900/tm.htm

This is a continuation of an old post of mine. ITs about my car having weird noises while it starts up and how it smokes around the engine bay. The weather has been really rough around my area so i haven't had the opportunity to get any thing done. But today it was nice and so i took the opportunity to take off my engine covers and capture some close up photos and video for everyone to see. I haven't drivein my car since all the issues started occuring. I'm also aware i should drain my coolant/antifreeze.

Car starting up, it has a horrible start up sound; 7 megs

Car 1 minutes later, engine sound changes; 4 megs

Car 2 minutes later, engine sounds differently and you can clearly see the smoke in the video; 3megs

So what do you guys think i should do?

How about getting rid of the nasty green stuff and filler up with the correct G12 pink stuff??
As far as the sound, what type/grade oil do you use?? How many miles?
The bad sound could be from a dying water pump due to running not enough/incorrect coolant. They get noisy and bearings get worn if you run with a low coolant level over time.

if you dont' know a lot about cars, I may suggest you take it somewhere to have your concerns looked at...and really in the video I don't really hear a hole lot other than lifter tick, chances are you have a collapsed lifter on start up and once it build oil pressure it fills the lifter again with oil. And yeah ditch the green stuff, and thats not your timing belt that you pointed out in the vid, the timing belt is hidden under all your plastics yet.

and as far as smoke around the engine bay, i'd go with the fact of leaking valve cover gaskets causing oil to be burnt on the manifolds or cylinder heads

lol...i forgot which forum it was on but some guy removed all the badges, then rebadged it with 2.0T, a FSI badge and his quattro logo, definetely needed a type-r logo, or chrome gas door cover to finish it off. "Debadge, don't rebadge!"
