I heard putting a BOV on an audi can screw your ecu up, not too sure about it. I have a SSQ HKS BOV that i have yet to put on.

If you want the sound get a hks ssq its the loudest Ive heard and recirculate the sucker (dont worry your ricer ears will still hear the valve). I know they make recirc kits for them, but I dont know if they fit audis 9dont know why they wouldnt).

This is what I am doing when I get my car. The only reason I am doing this is because a buddy of mine was going to put it on his dsm and totaled his car before he could put it on so he sold it to me for 50 bucks. and they can handle any amount of boost you can throw at them. Am I a ricer?
I was talking to the guy who wanted a bov not people who own a hks ssq[:@].

I recomend the hks for high boost cases since its a pull type valv not a push type. that is why they hold boost better no spring to wear out or tune.

ah. one more thing too.

okay... somehwere along the line. my car started making this loud and obnoxious squeaking noise everytime i went over a bump or turned the wheel. i thought it was my suspension or some ****. but i took it to a shop. and they said they werent exactly sure. but they think i may have bent the control arm... and its rubbing against something. they did nothinga bout that. but they lubercated my bearings or some ****.. sound was a lot quieter. then it came back. and now.. i cant even stand it its so loud. i cant flex at all or it just sounds like ****. someone actually said they had a similar sound on their prelude. and they had to lubercate something dealin wiht the clutch. any ideas

front or rear?

for turning.. maybe tie-rod ends...

could be the control arm bushings

if its the rear, it could be the swarbar bushings... could be control arms.. could be, could be!

Where exactly is the sound coming from

the front right. it has progressively gotten worse.
and wow.. it is downright depressing.

but yeah. i was talking to the guy i talked to was quoting about 400.

great... but oh well. needs to be done. i just want to be sure
that this is completely necissary because the sound did actually go away
for about a month and a half. after that i vaguely heard it. and now.

****.

What did he quote? 400 to do what? What is he replacing?

Re-lubing the joints/busings will help creaks alot, until the grease wears out [:@]

It could be a mix of tie-rod/end and control arms

Oh, ok, sorry if I sounded a little up front there. I follow what you were saying now.

sigh... i figured as much... i guess lubing it up again before i go to myrtle in two weeks will keep the noise at least at a tiny squeek.

then i can just get it fixed afterward.. thanks hatter.
