Flat tire
So as I was detailing my car yesterday I saw that one of the back wheels looked a bit flat. Took it over today to put some air in it and I see this metal object stuck in there....AHHHHH, oh well it least its leaking out REALLY slow. So I am taking it to a mechanic later so they can patch it. I'd assume that they are going to put that gue stuff in side the tire or whatever.... How good is this stuff, or what do you think they are going to do?

RE: Flat tire
its only flat on the bottom lol and that gue stuff is good;)

RE: Flat tire
some people dont like it cause it makes the tire nasty and if it settles in one spot can throw off the turnign motion and riuin tire and suspensionas well as give you a uncomfy ride. Just get the old style plug for the tire be good 2 go in 5 min.

RE: Flat tire
The old style plug works pretty well. Be thankful that the hole is on the bottom, and not the side.

RE: Flat tire
If the metal is over a couple inches long they won't be able to patch it.. even if its thin[&:]

RE: Flat tire
Any real tire repair is a patch on the inside and a plug for the hole. the goo never works permanently

RE: Flat tire
yeah lucky its the bottom I took metal through the sidewall on a 3 month old potenza 050A pole position. [:@] Anyway yeah plug it
