Hey guys, I think my flex pipe is gone, called around to a few places and they all seem to want 200-250 to replace the thing. Any idea what size of flex is needed? I'm thinking of just grabbing a generic one and welding it on myself. Input appreciated.

First off, get under your car and check it. Don't just assume you have a problem without being sure.

 

if you are missing it, there are a few sellers on ebay that sell a stainless downpipe for around $90

Sorry on my wording there. Yes it is gone there is a hole in the flex LOL

This should be a quick easy fix if I know the diameter of the flex used....

thanks for the link turbokraut. I'm gonna need of those pretty soon, the resonance from the exhaust leak is getting annoying.

Yeah, both mine are gone actually. My Passanger side flex pipe actually BROKE off my cat. My Drivers side is sooo close to doing the same. So my Pass. Side is welded onthere with a solid peice of piping.
