Follow up to my old post P1136

Well, it's emission time in TN for me.. anyways, I've been dealing with P1136 for a while and this past weekend decided to take a look, I found a vacumm hose that connects to the manifold that was broken and in terrible shape so I replaced that portion and disconnected the battery to reset the ECU.. Well after 1hr the CEL is still there.. so okay, I decided today to unplug the battery completely and still there..

So If anyone can share some light on what it can be, I will taking this car to the dealer and let them deal with it.. Then I might just sell it becuase, it's really turning out to be more of a headache than anything..

go to autozone and use their loner tool to reset the code manually......

EDIT: i may be wrong, but i think i remember hearing that the cycle for resetting CELs is 200 miles....

I think you have to disco the battery for like 30 minutes or so... that is what I was told.

Yeah typically that takes care of it. I suppose you can pull off the cover to the ECU box and disconnect it for a bit. I'd probably guess that you didn't fix the problem though.

^^^ nope, I just tried the ecu, I unplug for maybe 3 minutes. and then plugged it back and and started the car, still there.. which makes no sense, cuz, in my accord, I unplug it and then plug back in it's gone, but it won't read any codes for a few hrs before everything is synced back up..

I looked at these post:

http://www.fastaudi.net/a4/library/ecu_remove.html
http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1644156.phtml

So I went to autozone and plug it back it, well it turns out it has 2 codes P1136 and P0102. The last one beign the one I'm a bit concerned about.. Hopefully it's not a bad MAF Sensor...

I cleared out the codes and will drive it tomorrow to work, hopefully I don't get pulled over on the way in to go the emission tested..
