I recent;y just installed a forge 007 piston type Diverter Valve. Now with the stock Bosh DV i could hear the psssshhh sound of the air gettting dumped back into the airbox. Noe i dont hear the psssssssshh at all. I thought it should be a little louder with the forge. Could something be wrong with the DV or with install? holla back

driving fine mayhbe even a lil better response just dont know why so quiet. Yeah I unstalled it myself but dont see how i could of done anything wrong and if i did im sure it wouldnt be driving fine.

Maybe the problem was your Bosch DV was leaking and that's why you dont hear the pssshhh now.

The vented air will echo out of the intake. It's a pretty significant difference. The problem is that most aftermarket intakes just take in the hot air from the engine bay.
