since you have the APR chip you will at least need to get the 710N. the stock cant hold the pressure and will tear/crack.

what is the difference in the OEM 710 and the aftermarket 007 model?
The main difference is that the 007 will never break, and can be taken appart to service with new spring/grease every 10k miles or so. It also comes with a lifetime warranty. 007 uses an alluminum piston instead of the rubber and plastic diaphram like the 710n. I was having probelms with my 710N after 1 yr, even though there were no noticeable signs of wear when i cracked it open after i got my forge. It was causing a strange noise like when you blow over the top of a beer bottle. That noise went away when i switched to forge.

i really don't think i'm going to build the engine anymore than just the apr chip and intake....so what color spring would i use in the 007? or would i be better of just getting a stratmosphere/hyperboost, so i don't have to worry about different springs?

The correct spring to run will be determined by the boost that the chip allows you to run, in your case I would say the yellow.

I've just finished processing an order for a Hyperboost owner who purchased our spring tuning kit.

does the 007 come with the yellow spring in it, or would i have to buy the spring kit and change it out to the yellow spring? the car is a 2000 1.8t, w/APR chip...it says 200hp/2**lbs (don't remember off hand) so would the green spring work as well, how much difference is there between green and yellow?

Im pretty sure youll have to get the spring kit. People that are chipped prefer the green spring from what i know. I dont know whats in mine cuz i bought it used and just installed it. It holds about 20 psi and boost comes on and goes off nicely.

The 007 comes built with the green spring but we also include the yellow and the blue to cover any later upgrades. There is a 8 psi difference in how we rate the maximum of both springs: green 5-15, yellow 15-23.

onepoint8tee: according to above, should i be using yellow instead of green? when do you want the DV to divert? could this be why I'm spiking at 24-25 at WOT? once I get the 93 program how much more psi will I be getting? i'm afraid of hurting my little turbie!
