Asking Price is $7995 <<-- Which I would get them to lower somewhat. Rule of thumb there.

Good or bad price?

The VIN is WAUDA88D0TA294421 if anyone has a Carfax thing.

This is only serving as a temp. car and will be an introduction into the Audi world for me. Are there huge issues I would have with this year etc?

well if its only a temporary car, it sohuld be fine. 37k on the engine? thats very low. 96 was the starter year for a4s in the us, and has the least ability to accept mods, and its a 2.8. you will get knocked on here for the chrome wheels and the pinstripes, but whatever. as far as the price goes, thats average for most 96's.

As long as it's a temp car and you promise to ditch that thing for something better somewhere not to far down the road. you shouldn't have any major problems with it for a good while, just double check and make sure it's been properly maintaned. Oh and you should be able to get that price down several hundred bucks, just point out somethings you dont like to the seller, i.e. scratches, or u know I really wanted one in blah blah color with blah blah options.

It's def. a temp. And yeah 37k original on the engine and body. That's why I was thinking get it, keep the resell decent and then get rid of it here in 3 or 4 months. Enough time for me to try and find exactly what I want.

And just to go on the record, I hate chrome wheels, I'm a gunmetel kind of guy 100%. But hey, I'm not going to go drop 3k into a temp car for some nice wheels so I'll just tough it out.
