free flow cat recomendation

Default free flow cat recomendation

i am in desperate need of a free flow cat that will match up with my k04 and my milltek exhuast. i dont want to spend an arm and a leg like the milltek cat wich is like 795. any of u no of a cat for like 300 to 500? or even cheaper if possible.

yea but i jus got the milltek warranty replacement downpipe and getting rid of the cat requires a new downpipe correct?

sure does. www.atpturbo.com i dont know if it will work with the miltek system but it works with factory exhaust system if thats any help.

165 bucks + shippin not to shabby if it will work with your exhaust setup.

No you do not need a new downpipe if you are replacing the CAT. Do you want a HFC or a testpipe. Either will work without getting a new DP. For HFC look at labree, techtonics tuning(B5 passat) for test pipes look at ATP's, labree, and eurocode.

thanks. 165 aint bad. i defwant a high flow or free flow, im not familiar w the test pipe, do u think it would be better?

Yea deffiantely, its just pretty much straight tubing off the turbo. You will not pass emissions with a testpipe, a HFC you may.

If you looking for an upgrade on the Cat - I've installed LaBree unit (along with Borla exhaust) few weeks ago, very happy with their product, direct bolt on $250 or so:





Techtonics is another one that many recomend, but its $295...

D

i dunno, but in my DSM day we just took the stock cat and knocked out the honeycomb in it...
