I need a new front bumper for my A4, the only problem is I cant find one with the washer cutouts...so my question is could I cut them out myself? Has anyone done this or known someone that did? Trying to find a decent used bumper is like trying to find a needle in a freakin' haystack....I found a couple of the OEM bumpers without the washer slots on ebay for like $130....I wonder how they fit......

 

Is the extrerior trim for the '98 to '01 A4s the same? I was wondering if maybe a '00 bumper will fit my '01..they look the same.

 

Where do you live, because if you live in the U.S. then i dont even know why you would want to cut them out.

 

haha..what do you mean? I do live in the US....but I think I found one at Shokan....I also think the 2000 will fit my 2001 they look exactly the same...

 

Why dont you just leave them uncut, does your car have headlight washers?

 

Yes it does....I dont really need them could I take them off and just put the bumper with the uncut washer slots on?

 

Wow I'm such a noob...I just found a couple '01 A4s without the headlight washers...I like it better then with those bumpy washers..they dont even work half the time and if they do they get stuck....

 

2000 is the same as 2001. just go by the submodel, ie. b5, b6, b7...
