Glad I didn't do this myself. I watched my trusted mechanic swear at rusted bolts for 30 minutes before he took a torch to the bolts to get them unfrozen. It is amazing how much quieter the car is with the new bearing. I hadn't thought that the bearing was that loud, but it is very noticable now that it is no longer making noise.

 

damn, good to hear your back on a good bearing... theres no way i could stand having a bad wheel bearing and driving with it
