Fuel in Engine Oil
Why is that? I changed the oil about 800 miles ago and I start to smell the fuel in the oil. That's not good.
What seal or what cause of this problem? What do I need to replace it ? Any ideas ? |
RE: Fuel in Engine Oil
Well... It could be that you're running way rich. Maybe worn rings...

RE: Fuel in Engine Oil
PCV is directly abover the N75 - its the "puck valve"
also called the 034 valve in a picture on this DIY http://www.scottweese.com/images/pcv/pcv.html |

RE: Fuel in Engine Oil
I thought when you run an oil catch can, it eliminates the pcv valve?
|
RE: Fuel in Engine Oil
Oil catch can catch the oil which goes back to the intake.
Fuel in engine should nothing to do with it, I think. People in AZ say it could be compression rings. Ones I get it that close to the block, it'd be better to rebuild the whole thing. onepoint8tee; do you have compression test stuff ? I wanna do compression test see what's up. |
