fuel problems, I replaced fuel filter and fuel pump

I replaced fuel filter and fuel pump on my 2002 audi a4 1.8t, the car still stalls like it does not have gas and filter makes a wired noise. what could be the problem?

What did the fuel pressure & volume tests show that led you to replace these parts or did you blindly throw parts at you car? Any fault codes?

hello thanks for the replay and what was going on was that the car will run for like a hour or so and then it would stall like is running out of gas, so I went again and replaced fuel filter maybe it was full of dirt after doing that the car was doing this same as before where the car would stall, and the filter would make a weird noise, so I went ahead and replaced fuel pump and the car would do the same again, it would stall like it does not have gas like the fuel pump would slow down and at the same time the filter would do a weird sound. so my question is could it be the fuel pump or what can it be ?

Need fault codes , fuel pressure & volume. Without this info you will just be guessing & wasting money throwing parts at your car. If you do not have the capability it is time to bring it to a qualified repair shop.

My best guest is the fuel pump relay. My 2nd guest is that alternator, any Mechanic can test your alternator within seconds, so that issue is fast , simple and cheap to check. My money is on the fuel pump relay, i had similar problems like yours, the exact same problem.

Keep throwing parts at , you might fix the problem.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry for the sarcasm but I am trying to save you money. Why do people think that some other guy had a similar problem on the internet that it is good excuse to throw parts at your car. If you diagnose the problem it will be less costly.

For the money & time already put in the car & not fixing it you could have invested in a VAG-COM to help diagnose the car properly.

One more thing , just because the check engine light might not be on does not mean there are no pending codes.

I'm not telling him to go and buy parts to fixed the fuel pump relay, I am just giving him my opinion on that matter. best thing for him to do is to do diagnostic. If he can't do it, go get it inspected. I think he should try that VAG-COM diagnose 1st since its cheaper then getting it professionally inspected.
