Can anyone help me locate g68? I am throwing up a code 00281 on the vag tester, I have and still have auto box problems and traced it to this code but not sure where the sensor is. I have spent over £500 at the Audi dealership and still only have two gears! Trying to sort the car by myself now as I dont trust the dealership as they just keep running up the bill and charging me £110 per hour labour alone plus parts.

Does anyone know where the vehicle speed sensor is?

It is mounted on the transaxle. Page 6-19 CHILTON 70700

Thank you for the reply. When I clear the code the car goes mad in the gears but its settled down at the minute. I still dont know how to find the sensor tho as I dont have the chilton book. I have spent so much and still no nearer finding the problem but wont give up yet on the car.
My first taste of Audi is not a good one tho.[&o]
