Default getting a chip for christmas

ok, i know that that some people say get apr and some say get giac, but here is my question

i know that the giac is a piggy back chip, and that would mean it has to be sautered on right?

if so who in stl does that

i know the apr is done at a shop, like reid-vann, but it also uses cruise control(cc), well here is my proble, my cc doesn't work, i am not sure it is the switch, arm, or one of the control boxes, since cc doesn't work should i giac no matter what, any help would be great

i think mainly, at least if i am looking at the prices right, the giac and apr are 500, the revo is 1300 and if you wanna switch it or stuff it is an extra 300

Its something like that, but you have a lifetime warranty and the right to give your modded chip back for your stock ECU.

REVO sucks with the B5s casue htey dont have a chip for the B5s here in the USA
revo is alrite its just like the rest of them

but since u have a 2001 1.8T u can be reflashed instead of removing ur ECU and havin it sodered
people like GIAC becasue its more aggressive, i went with APR and i like it casue its smooth
