Yeah that looks pretty 'hot'.

Ok so what paints did you use. I am doing this tomorrow, enough waiting and procrastinating.

ya still considering it.. .. i've never like the idea of opening up the headlight housing.. i've seen it go wrong several times..

but i also picked up some "smoke" paint.. for smoking my sidemarkers.. will be doing that this weekend.. also thinking about "smoking" the clear part of my taillights.. the clear part for the reverse lights.. not the whole light..

i went to pep boys and got HIGH HEAT spraypaint can (i figured since it gets hot, i want the paint to be heat resistant...)
for 10 bucks, i'm sure i glad i did it

i picked up some adhesive promotor from wal-mart and some black krylon spray paint i had laying around.. sanded it down a little.. put the adhesion promotor on.. black spray paint.. and a little bit of clear coat.. but i didnt want it real "shiney" so i didnt go overboard ..just a little for protection from chipping..

Its sooo easy.. You drill a couple small holes and thats it, when your done you just get some apoxy or any kind of sealer to plug the holes up so moisture doesnt get in there. You just have to be careful drilling so that you dont drill into the silver relflector.
