Default Gotta few pics and Q's bout my new wheels (18X8.5)

I drive a 1998 A4 1.8T

Alright, so, I bought a pair of audi rep's (they are 18x8.5)...and I put a pair of 235/40/18's on em....they were mounted and balanced today and I have comfortably put 20 miles on them tonight....now for some questions...

1. I have rediculous wheel gap!(4 friggin fingers to be xact!) I am 100% dead set on H&R/ Bilstein... should I stay "safe" w sport, or should I cross my fingers and go for da race springs?

2. My car is a non sport, so, will the sport springs drop da car more than the #'s conveyed?

3. does anyone run , or has anyone ran a similar setup?...I am mainly interested in suspension setups...fender rolling...rubbing issues...and any pictures you may have of your audizzles lowered, dropped or slammed....

thanks for any input...

56K beware!

If you go with sport springs, you should be okay. Sports springs will yield a drop close to that of the Audi sport suspension; buta hair lower. If you go with race springs, you'll probably run into rubbing issues andwillneed to roll the fenders.

If you run 225/40/18 with race springs, you shouldn't run into any problems. But everyone's results vary.

Two pairs of wheels...sorry

alright....thank you A4 Effort, that's what I needed to know...although I think the race springs would look alot better, I am going to go w da sport springs (i really don't need any headaches)....besides that, I went w da 235's because I had some major pothole issues w 225's in da past....

I'll post some gap pics tonight

thanks again!
