this is EXACTLY why i think the RS4 grill is so overrated...sure it would look hot with matching lower grills, but it just looks out of place with the stock finned grills...lower mesh grills are hard to find, it would probably be a custom job, especially on a stock bumper.
I think it looks just fine if you have a rs4 grill and the stock lower grills.

I agree. I don't think it makes a big difference if you have the stock lower grill. Especially on a black car where there is little contrast.

excuse the stupid question, but why do a lot of the mesh grills have that hole in the mesh?? it's not even 100% in the middle, just a randon hole
I'm guessing the audi rings cover up the hole, cuz it sure doesn't look too appealing

The latch for the hood goes through the hole.

thanks socalaudi

everyone just got off the phoner with cusotmer service from www.lltek.com

They said the upper and lower mesh grills are enough because there exist INTAKE SCOOPS to take care of the "problem with the sides"

i looked at their catalogue online (page 94 and page 110) and they don't look bad at all

so i guess the top/bottom grills + those intake scoops solve this issue after all.....the pics in the catalogue are pretty tight...

also, i would like to make sure the bottom mesh from underneath the bumper) is the same type of mesh as the top grill
i would hate to have two different types of mesh, it would look f**ked up

I've seen sections of mesh for the lower grill on eBay for pretty cheap. Of course, they're held on with zip ties...but I've seen pictures of people who used them and they don't look bootleg at all. Now, structural integrity may be another story...and keep in mind you have to work around your fog lights if you have them.

RS4 grill with stock lower grill = not bad at all IMO
RS4 grill with mesh lower grill = ****!
