tonight i raced one of my buddies who has a 2003 gti, its chipped with exhaust and short shift and maybe more but thats all i know of. we started 2nd gear about 30mph.. he jumped me at first then i basicly walked on him.. but still too close for me! My audi has the following:
K04
borla exhaust
chip (don't know what kind of chip.. how can i check)
short shifter and stage 3 clutch
What more can I do to squeeze some speed out of this thing? I'm gonna keep searching on here for ideas but I wanna know with my setup what can I do?!
This is what I'm thinking..
Test pipe
Front mount (27"x5.5x2.5)
bigger injectors (not sure what size tho so help me out)
maybe and i mean a huge MAYBE small shot of nos for if i ever need it on the intercooler.
but thats about all I can think of.. anything else?!?! I don't wanna switch the turbo or anything so if you got any ideas that would be great..

 

O and i forgot.. I've got a small dent in my hood so i'm prob gonna buy a carbon fiber and just get it painted but that'll take some lbs off.. prob not enough to really notice anything tho

no nos, unless its an intercooler spray

you need to find out what k04 file you are running

if you are running a base file then you can upgrade to an aggressive one

 

If your quattro, theres a reason why he will stay with you at a role, and thats power loss on the quattro, fwd is quicker once it gets going becuase it doesnt have to transfer the power. Id say, be happy, you have a 4 dr, he prob has 2, and he isnt running much less psi then you.

 

forgot.. i have a 99.5.. lazer you have been nothing but good help thank you.. turns out it was a K04 turbo, i don't think i was lied to i think the guy just agreed with what i said lol.. How can I find out what file i'm running?! And don't get me wrong I'm def happy with what I got.. i'm a 4 door luxury.. hes a 2 door sport and I basicly took him.. from a stand still i'd have killed him. But i def want more. And what do you think the max shot of nos i could do to the fmic would be.. and i mean safe shot maybe 1 time a month.

 

all the front wheel drive vw audis are fast after on second gear, you should own him if you guys started from zero mph, they cant launch fast either they will spinout or wont get the right boost for a good launch, there is too many chances of himn loosing from zero mph but those darn things are pretty quick after 20-30 mph

more aggressive files will run more boost

if you run a more aggressive file you will deff take him next time

since you are 99.5 you can get the giac pc-16 file
you would need bigger injectors and a fmic
you already have the exhaust so thats all you would need
