Default H & R sport springs

hey guys, I posted this in a different thread a few days ago and no help so I figured I would post it here too...sorry for the double post...
Does putting the H & R sport springs on an A4 with factory sport suspension lower the car any more than it already is? BTW I am planning on putting 19in RS4 reps on.. I am not sure if 19's will fill up the wheel well on oe sport suspension....I appreciate any help I get

Yes it will be lower than stock, and firmer, too. Do you have a B5?
Sport on a b5 is 20mm lower than non-sport... and H&R sport springs are 45mm lower than non-sport... so you'd see a 25mm drop.
19" RS4's will look great on a B5 or a B6. People on the forums are often kind of tired of RS4 wheels... but realisticially, we're all hundreds of miles apart (for the most part) and in reality, your car will stand out. What we feel is 'common' (in our online community) isn't so common in the real world. :P

Mmm.. 19's. I had the sports package with red struts. It was fairly low with a three finger gap on my 18's in the rear. With the SportsHR spring, i get a 1 1/2 in gap in the rear. As for thefronts you'll get a 2in gap. Not, correct me if i'm wrong on this. but,at first your springs will seem high but it should seat themselves nice once it's driven enough.

Over all for me it wasnt much of a gain. But whenI got the car, the previous owner cut the springs to lower the car =(. I had a situationwith the springs so they needed to go.

I have a B6 and to me it sits low but i just wasn't sure about the 19's and all... I would hate to have to spend $350 on springs if it wasn't going to lower the ride height. and since I don't plan on taking my car around the corners at mach 2 I would have no need to really have a stiff suspension set up...just want to have a more even stance. BTW I am changing the shocks if I do decide to lower. just in case any of you wanted to flame on me. I have modded all the cars I have ever owned so I know what works and what doesn't.

Coilovers are great. Not only that they have performance but they serve the look you want. I can imagine the look you are going for with your B6. But Price is an issue =/. Only if money was as easy as picking a leaf of the free.

i would get the 19's on there first then decide if you really need the drop. If you have the sport suspension with 19's you should be lookin pretty clean. Droppin it with springs you could run into some rubbing issues.
