H&R Sports on stock sport struts
H&R sports do not drop the car anywhere near 1.5 inches. It's like 1 inch fr and 1.2 inches rear or something. It will be even less drastic cause you already have the sport package it seems (you have stock sport shocks). If you want more of a drop from the H&R sport springs you'll want to get adjustable grooved shocks too.

yeah but the sport springs are like $250 shipped, and I will do the install myself. COs are like $1200, which I can have the money for by my next months commission check. $250 isnt much to spend to make the car look decent for the month of July...
I wouldn't recomend it also. Just save upalittle more andget both struts and springs. You have the suspension apart mine as well replace everything. Or save up a little more and get CO's.
New to Audis so cant really help, but I remember from my days as a Fordboy just changing springs would knacker out your std shocks at a faster rate, maybe in 3 months, maybe last 3 years (if your lucky). Does anyone know if lowering a Quattro can damage the driveshafts? Been told lowering one too much can knock out the shafts as they are working at different angles they were intended to?
