Has this ever happened to you?

Ok my rear brakes are worn badly and squeaking a little so I decided to jack em up and have a look before I order new rotors and pads. Anyways I take the wheel bolts off and the tire won't budge[sm=WTFsgign.gif] I've done this before so I know I'm not F_ing it up, just to make sure I try the others. Come to find out all four tires are rusted stuck to the damn rotors[:@] I don't have a proper jack or stands to be under the vehicle bangin way so it'll have to wait.

this is quite common, you have alloy wheels and the hub is steel together if left long enough they will seize together that's why the use spigot rings but you should be removing the wheels approx every 1,000 miles and re torquing them to prevent this from happening and a good idea is to put some copper grease where the spigot ring comes into contact with the hub

Yah, the same thing happen to my rear wheels. Spray WD40 or put some grease on it before you put the wheels back on.

or just keep a big hammer in your car to get them off when ever you want

yep big hammer because all the dealers will do is knock they off with a hammer and give you a bill that will feel like you just been hammered lo
of course they hit the tyres not the alloys;)l
