Default Headlight warning buzzer not working?? searched but no conclusive answers

Hello,

I'm very new to this forum. I just bought myself a 2000 A4 1.8T Quattro Sport (180bhp Model), but the warning buzzer for leaving the headlights on is not working. I've searched in here on this problem and it seems to be linked to the door switch but my car picks up all the doors being opened on the instrument cluster. I've also noticed that there is no warning buzz when my fuel warning light comes on and also when i use the over-speed funtion. Even the indicator noise only sounds like the light relay tripping.

All the other internal lights are working perfectly apart from the light on the right side of the boot (just above the small compartment tray) and after taking out the fitting the light wasn't even connected. The fitting was just clipped into the boot carpet wall with no wires or light attached.

Any ideas on where to start with this issue??? Any ideas are very welcome

I am having the same problem with my 2006 S4. When I turn the headlights on and then turn the car off there is no buzzer or warning. Now I am only assuming that the buzzer is not working because I just can't see a $70,000 Audi NOT having one...

Maybe there is a fuse or something that the previous owner took out?
