Default Headlights turning off

I bought my car with aftermarket headlights.. They are awesome when they work.. They turn on together but after a few mins of driving the driver's side will go out and just the other night the passenger side went out too I think tho i could have been wrong.. everything else seems to be working (turns, rear, fogs).. Now if i flick the switch it comes back on but will end up going back out.. Also sometimes when I turn my lights on my radio goes into safe mode anything I can do other then keep puttin in the code? thanks for the help!

Your radio goes into safe mode when you turn on the headlights!?
That sounds like a damn hack was in there messing with wires he shouldn't have.

They guy I got the car from said the headlights use a lot of power when they turn on and thats why sometimes the radio will go into safe mode when I turn them on...

But I still need to figure out what is up with my headlights and what needs to be done. I just really hate having this nice car with a headlight out it looks horrible!

They drain the battery enough to put the radio in safe mode? What are they 12,000,000,000 candle power or something? Thats BS if i have ever heard it.
Un-plug both headlamp assemblies for nowand post a pic of the headlight set up.
If the radio goes into safe mode with the headlights dis-connected then you know something is wrong with the radio.

Xeons/HIDs draw less power than regular halogens from what Ive learned in the past couple days. 35w compared to 55w. So it could be the ballasts/wiring to or from ballasts. I dont know enough to talk like an expert on em yet.
