Sorry mate, the 12v V6 int eh early A4's is useless for tuning, the only thing you can get that has to do with the head is Mance's camshaft, and ive been looking for then for a while. the only performance mod is the exhaust and intake, and other than that its fubar.

Most machine shops can do a proper port and polish on your heads to increase flow. The benifits of a port & polish ona turbo are minimal but on a natually aspirated car its usually about 10% as well as better gas milege. Ive done it to both of my previous VWs but your gona spend some cash to get it done.

hell do the port and polish yourself. save yourself some money. then gasket match your exhaust manifold you might pickup +1hp

Def wouldnt recomend doing it yourself if you dont know what your doing (bit more than gasket matching) but yea its not a huge difference but its the same gains you get from odering aftermarket performance heads. I noticed a difference in my VW so its more than 1+hp gain.

I was actually gonna suggest gasket-matching the intake as well - every little bit, but like it was stated above, it's going to cost a lot, either in cash to have it done, or in time for you to do it, and the gains just aren't going to be much - probably not nearly enough to make it worth the time or expense.
